Why do you want more money?

Money is nothing more than a medium of exchange. While we may want more money to pay off our debts or to have more cash to play with, it is important that we set goals that represent more than just making money. We need to take a long and hard look at what more money is really going to do for us. Because with more money comes more responsibility. Let’s start this week and take Key Steps to identify…

What is the money for?

  1. What do I want money to do for me? Look to the values beneath money. What is important to you in your life – this might be a person, or a high level like education or travel, a value, etc.? As you sit here, imagining that you have more money… what does that give you (or allow you to be or do) that’s even more important than the money? And what’s even more important than that? You can keep asking this question (over and over) until you are sure you are at the root of what drives you. It’s a very useful motivational tool and will also help to ensure that your actions are not conflicting with your deeply important values.
  2. Change your mind. Refuse to focus on hardship and poverty. If you believe that your thinking plays a role in creating your reality, are you willing to take control of your thinking? The choice is yours. Choose to think thoughts of abundance, appreciation and hope? I know that this is a challenging step. I also know it’s an essential step if you seek empowerment, prosperity and freedom from fear. It was the step that transformed my life almost 10 years ago now. It’s up to you, you can choose to
