Postponements and/or Cancellations
Time is our most precious non-renewable resource. To manage this, only written postponement or cancellations notices will be accepted (emailed to sharon@keysteps.co.za) and are subject to the below T&Cs. I am sure you can imagine that we do not enjoy having to charge these fees, but you’ll understand why they are necessary.
Sharon’s diary books months in advance and we often have clients asking for your dates, but we reserve them strictly for you once your booking is confirmed. We then lose the revenue when postponements or cancellations are made at short notice.
We prefer that you consider alternatives to postponing or cancelling, such as substitute delegates, a substitute talk/workshop or coaching session to take place on the SAME DATES as those originally booked. You can contact Sharon to discuss the most suitable alternatives. She has come up with many ideas that have worked well for our key clients over the years. Not only does this save on postponement or cancellation fees but it usually leads to additional business value that our clients hadn’t realised was possible. It’s a win-win solution. Should you still decide to postpone or cancel, the following applies:
1. Short Courses or Talks
This refers to any keynote, individual masterclass or workshop less than two days in duration
Postponements
- 0% Postponement fee will apply for postponements made more than FOUR WEEKS PRIOR to the session.
- 75% Postponement fee will apply for postponements received LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS PRIOR to the session.
Cancellations
- 0% Cancellation fee will apply for postponements made more than FOUR WEEKS PRIOR to the session.
- 100% Cancellation fee will apply for postponements received LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS PRIOR to the session.
2. Longer Development Programmes
This refers to any development programme or masterclass series consisting of multiple modules or classes spaced over time
Cancellations and/or Postponements
- 100% Fee will apply for all modules or blocks of training scheduled in the FOUR WEEKS following the cancellation/postponement.
- 50% Fee will apply for the modules or blocks scheduled in the TWELVE WEEKS thereafter.
- Should we be able to fill the vacated dates with alternative training, there would be a potential refund – in part or full – depending on the specifics of the new bookings.
Important Note: We value our relationship and aim to be understanding and as flexible as possible. Should the request be to move your session back or forward a day or two from the original booking date and our schedule be able to accommodate it, we will not treat this as a postponement.
Payment Terms
Payment for training, speaking, consulting and/or coaching services is cash on delivery (COD). Arrangements can be made for 30-day payment terms, calculated from the end of the month of the date of invoice. Please discuss any required payment terms directly with collette@keysteps.co.za
