ARE THE PROGRAMMES ACCREDITED AND WITH WHO?
All our courses are NQF-aligned and either Services SETA or MICT SETA accredited (#2257). We are currently in the process of shifting to the QCTO as they are now the responsible body for the accreditation of Skills Development Providers (SDP) and the SETAs will be falling away.
CAN CREDITS GAINED BE USED TOWARDS OTHER NQF-ALIGNED PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS?
If learners choose to undergo formal assessment and complete at portfolio of evidence (POE) credits gained be used towards other NQF-aligned professional qualifications. We offer assessments as an optional extra as most of our clients want to gain the skills without undergoing the assessment process.
CAN WORKSHOPS BE CUSTOMISED FOR MY BUSINESS’ NEEDS?
Yes, our speciality is crafting intervention to meet your business needs. Nothing we do is “off the shelf,” everything is customised and has a personal touch with business cases and examples that really bring about deep and lasting results.
HOW DO YOU DELIVER WORKSHOPS AND IS THE DELIVERY VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON OR HYBRID?
We take a blended approach to learning (including synchronous and a-synchronous components) to create learning pathways that get sustainable results. All programmes can be delivered in-person or virtually. Many can be delivered hybrid but not all programmes are suited to this format. Please chat to us about your specific needs and we will be happy to recommend the best format for optimal results.
DO WORKSHOPS INCLUDE POST-TRAINING SUPPORT?
Yes, our interventions are designed to have both pre- and post-training support.

Why do clients choose to work with us to build their teams?
Because we custom craft solutions that get results. Our clients know that they get professional tailoring (with scientific rigour) combine with our deep passion for team development. All interventions have emotional intelligence at the core. Our clients also know that they can come to us with really complex teams’ challenges and we will support where we can and use our referral network to get you the best support where we can’t.
How long is a team building session?
Team building can be anything from 3 hours to multiple days depending on the outcomes you want to achieve and your budget. Our team will discuss your needs and custom craft a niche solution for you.
Virtual, in-person or both?
We don’t advise doing team building in a hybrid way. It’s better to have the entire team online or physically in the room. If, however, you have a hybrid team that is struggling to work together effectively we would work with them in a hybrid way to achieve cohesion and collaboration.
How many team members are recommended for a team building session?
There is no right or wrong amount. Speak to us and we will give you advice based on your needs.
What post-workshop support does your team receive?
All our interventions have follow-up resources (provided electronically). We also offer an array of support services such as executive coaching and leadership development masterclasses. Because of our diverse expertise and depth of experience, many clients choose to journey with us to transform individuals and teams over the long-term. Nothing we do is ‘off the shelf’ – we are committed to providing quality intervention with Key Steps to… ‘be the difference that makes the difference’.

HOW DO YOU COACH? VIRTUAL or IN-PERSON?
Coaching can be done virtually or in-person. Please chat to us about your specific needs and we will be happy to recommend the best format for optimal results.
DO I HAVE TO UNDERTAKE THE COACHING JOURNEY THROUGH MY ORGANISATION?
No, you can coach privately. Sharon has a significant number of private global clients.
HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT TO THERAPY AND COUNSELLING?
Counselling and therapy are to remedy the client’s problems. The client comes to therapy or counselling because they feel dissatisfied with their life and want relief from psychological distress and/or physical symptoms. They want to work through their pain or discomfort rather than move towards desired goals. Therapy and counselling often seek to understand the past and what went wrong in order to be better in the present. Coaching focuses on the present and future. Sharon often works with client who have a great life and career, but wants to stretch and grow further in specific areas.
WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE OF A COACHING ENGAGEMENT?
The objective is to focus on your potential (your unrealised ability, capacity or possibility) by leveraging your strengths, uncovering what’s in your way and targeting the areas you are most interested in addressing to help you reach your goals more effectively.
CAN I CHANGE THROUGH COACHING?
Yes, you can. We’ve seen many clients change in powerful ways. And they’ve likely had ambitions, goals, concerns and challenges that are similar to yours. Coaching can be the catalyst to profoundly shift the trajectory of your life, enabling you to change the quality of your life and the direction of your career in ways you never dreamed of.
WHAT ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY?
What happens in our sessions, stays in our sessions. We fully understand the value of your trust, and we take every precaution to safeguard it. Any feedback the organisation requires will be delivered with the coachee present.
HOW LONG DOES THE COACHING PROCESS TAKE?
The time frame can vary greatly and depends on a wide range of factors: your goal(s), your commitment and openness to change, your capacity for introspection, your circumstances, how quickly and thoughtfully you complete homework assignments, and other unique factors. We have individuals who come in for a very brief engagement and we have others who come in focused on one goal, achieve that goal, and begin work on another goal and then another.

CAN YOU CUSTOMISE AND DESIGN A BESPOKE KEYNOTE?
Yes! In fact, this is Sharon’s speciality so she will happily work with you to craft a keynote that meets your exact needs or conference theme. If what you need is outside of her area of expertise, she will be able to recommend the best keynoter as she has a large network in the industry of top global speakers.
CAN YOUR KEYNOTES BE DELIVERED HYBRID OR ONLY IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY?
Sharon can deliver her keynotes in all three formats. Please chat to us about your specific needs and we will be only too happy to suggest the best format – and any technology required – for optimal results.
WHAT MAKES SHARON’S KEYNOTES DIFFERENT?
When Sharon keynotes it is not a once off event. Pre-event, there are so many Key Steps taken from consultation such as providing you with video marketing collateral, doing proprietary audience research and designing the bespoke talk. Post-event you will receive detailed feedback and digital resources. Sharon is known for sharing extremely powerful tools that take the team way beyond the keynote. We also offer an array of support services such as executive coaching and leadership development masterclasses. Because of our diverse expertise and depth of experience, our clients choose to journey with us to transform individuals and teams over the long-term.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER THAT CAN ATTEND A KEYNOTE?
There is no minimum or maximum number of participants that can attend Sharon’s keynotes. The more, the merrier!
CAN SHARON’S KEYNOTES BE PHOTOGRAPHED?
Yes. All photographs are to be made available to Key Steps within 10 working days of Sharon’s talk. Sharon also reserves the right to photograph the session and use photos online or in print.
CAN SHARON’S KEYNOTES BE RECORDED?
Unless we specifically agree in writing (and there is a price difference) recordings (audio or video) are not permitted. If you wish to record the event, please contact Sharon or a member of our team in advance. We have various licencing options we can explore. If we’ve agreed to permit recording the session, plan ample time to test sound pick up and to verify that the sound patch doesn’t interfere with the projection-output quality (sometimes an issue). All recorded footage is to be made available to Key Steps within 10 working days of Sharon’s talk.
HOW LONG SHOULD A KEYNOTE SPEECH BE?
As a rule, anything shorter than 20 mins is not ideal. Instead, plan for 60 to 90 minutes. Sharon charges the same fee for up to 90 minutes so you get more value making the full time available.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE KEYNOTE SPEECH?
All our keynotes have follow-up resources (provided digitally). We also offer an array of support services and because of our diverse expertise and depth of experience, our clients journey with us.

Yes, we do. This is our speciality and we thrive on being able to craft solutions that meet your exact needs. We would look forward to talking to you to see how we can support your team to take the right Key Steps to… ‘be the difference that makes the difference’.
ARE ALL CLASSES COMPULSORY?
When someone had enrolled in this particular programme all 10 classes are compulsory. However, should we customise a bespoke intervention for you, we will explore and agree on the structure and potentially have some classes that are elective.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM NUMBER THAT CAN ATTEND THIS PROGRAMME?
We recommend no less than 8 participants and no more than 25 participants. This allows for better learning during the session as everyone is able to take part and engage experientially..
IS THIS PROGRAMME ACCREDITED AND WITH WHO?
All our courses are NQF-aligned and we are Services SETA accredited (#2257). This programme is not a formal qualification though.
HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE MASTERCLASSES AND IS THE DELIVERY VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON OR HYBRID?
