I love achieving and doing. My personality thrives on making a difference and seeing growth and change – in myself and others. I often have to remind myself just how significant small changes are. They are the micro-nudges that – over the course of time – make a huge difference. All too often we feel challenged or overwhelmed by the “Big Changes” happening in the world around us. This can often lead to a variety of “out of control” feelings ranging from disappointment, to disillusionment, to utter frustration. During these moments, we often forget how much control we actually have and that by making small micro changes, we can make a big difference to our personal and professional lives. And, this is where the “Power of 10%” – or even 5% or 2% – is so beneficial in helping us achieve the changes we desire and deserve.

Let’s focus this week on the tiny Key Steps we can make to…

‘be the difference that makes the difference.’

  1. Consider what would happen if you…
Exercised 10% more or reduced your unhealthy snacking by 10%?
    Invested 10% of your income?
Spent 10% more time on your personal development?
Spent 10% of your time writing a new article or book?
    Slept 10% more?
    Complained 10% less.
Gave your children 10% more focused attention?
Took 10% more time for yourself?
[Enter your wishes here and please share them in the comments below]
  2. You could likely…
Improve your health, increase your energy levels and feel better about yourself.
Create a nice nest egg for your retirement.
Enhance your job performance and your career.
    Feel more rested and resilient.
Have a healthier and happier mind.
    See your relationships improve.
Find that – over a period of time – you could achieve the unimaginable!

As the ripple produced by a rock thrown into the still lake expands into ever-increasing concentric circles, so do the effects of 10% micro-nudges. What micro Key Steps will you start this week to….

‘be the difference that makes the difference.’
