Before we tackle the third step in my ‘EASIER’ ways to being happy NOW tool, let’s recap and reflect on how well you have managed the first two parts of this six part guide…

No-one knows the answer to how well you are doing better than you and your current levels of happiness will speak for themselves. If you are not yet as happy as you’d like to be or know you can be… don’t beat yourself up as this is the surest way to being unhappy. 1. Screen. Screen out the unnecessary and focus on important things. Exercise, sleep, quality time with friends and family and having true ‘re-creation’ time are often the first things to be sacrificed in our quest for ‘achievement’. Yet these are often the very things required for achieving happiness. Frugality is something we are culturally cut off from understanding and enjoying. 2. Simplify your life. What do you have to say NO to, so you can YES to the things that matter? You know what they are… perhaps taking on too many extra responsibilities at work and not delegating, perhaps it’s wasting time on the web, perhaps it is procrastinating or being a perfectionistic?
