Seven weeks to better relationships – Part 7 – Manage conflicts with the ‘DO RESCUE’ strategy

by | Nov 13, 2013 | Communication, Emotional Intelligence, Relationships (Self and Others)

We have reached the final part of our seven weeks to mastering relationships. Thank you for taking key steps with me and for nurturing the relationships with the people you care about most. I would like to leave you with two things.

1. The first is a quote that always reminds me how important it is to share and REALLY listen to each other (especially when things are tough):

“Listening is the oldest and perhaps the most powerful tool of healing. It is often through the quality of our listening and not the wisdom of our words that we are able to affect the most profound changes in the people around us. When we listen we offer sanctuary for the homeless parts within the other person. That which has been denied, unloved, devalued by themselves and others. That which is hidden. When you listen generously to people, they can hear the truth in themselves often for the first time.”

— Rachel Naomi Remen —

2. The second is a tool I have developed to help you ‘rescue’ a troubled relationship.

Email me your DO RESCUE Toolkit NOW

It takes effort and practise but if your relationship is worth it and you both want to work at it, it talks you through managing conflict step-by-step and – it works!

I hope that you have enjoyed this journey and benefitted from it as much as I have enjoyed sharing it with you! Always remember that YOU ARE and CAN CONTINUE to…

“be the difference that makes the difference
