We all negotiate in our personal and professional lives, usually on a daily – if not hourly – basis. We negotiate with our friends, partners, children, peers and colleagues. We negotiate when we want to watch a movie no one else is keen on, when we want a salary increase, when we want to close a business deal and when we are dealing with members of the public.
