Acknowledging the women who shape our lives

Today I would like to acknowledge the women who have shaped our lives. I think especially of my mum who has taught me what it is to be a woman and what it is to love. I think of my mother-in-law who so often cooks us the best Greek food. I think of my step-daughters who bring such love and happiness into my heart. I think of my sister, who always gives me her time, her shoulder and endless wisdom. I think of my best friends who know me as well as I know myself and still love me. I think of my female colleagues who support and often facilitate alongside me to make a difference in the world. I think of my office helpers who make sure my world keeps on ticking while I am coaching or facilitating all day. I think of my special clients who make me part of their team (you wonderful ladies know exactly who you are). I am because you are. Thank you for being the special women you are. Here’s to you

The beauty of a woman
isn’t in the clothes she wears,
the figure she carries,
or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman
must be seen from in her eyes,
because that’s the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.

The beauty of a woman
isn’t in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman,
is reflected by her soul.
It’s the caring that she cares to give,
the passion that she shows,
and the beauty of a woman,
with passing years, only grows.

Take the time, make a call, send a message, take some flowers… (love isn’t in the big things, it’s in the million little things) and honour the woman you love, admire and depend on. Let them know that they have supported you to
